The TK40 is the latest installment in the TK-Series and is the first Fenix to use Cree's MC-E quad-die, very powerful LED. Powered by eight AA batteries and boasting 630 lumens of output, the TK-40 is the ultimate portable, long-range illumination tool for the backpacker, explorer, and flashlight lover.

The TK40 is the world's brightest, AA-powered flashlight. Its optimized reflector enables it to throw a wall of light for over 300 meters. All of this luminosity is sealed tight in a waterproof, durable, and strong aluminum body that measures in at just 8.2 in long.

The TK40 has two different modes of output, each with four different levels - a total of eight different outputs as well as intelligent circuitry that will memorize your last-used primary mode.

2 modes of output, selected by turning the bezel: 

• Primary Modes: 630 lumens -> 13 lumens -> 93 lumens -> 277 lumens
• Strobe Mode: Strobe -> Slow Flash -> SOS -> Fast Flash

Operation:

Press the tailcap button to turn on light. Turn the bezel to select mode. Fully-tighten bezel for Turbo Mode and loosen bezel for General Mode. Soft-press the tailcap button to change the output level of the selected mode.
